Using my imagination to bring Tara's vision for each piece of content to life. 

What’s one way your unique energy shows up in the work?

Mixing it up. I love to mix and match everything, from colors to patterns.

What does your work @ TOD look like, in a nutshell?

A bit of everything! Most notably I'm working intimately with our clients to bring their vision to life so they can welcome their people to their digital home.

What do you love most about your role?

It's always something new! Even when we're giving something a remix it's fun and fresh to co-create a new, other thing!

I'm a big believer that everything is ART. From the gaudiest nails (former nail tech here), the visual and written content we make for our clients, and even the pouring over and processing life events and relational dynamics. Making art, giving it all time, space and Love is like running a wash cycle at the cosmic laundromat: everything comes out clean, fresh and appropriate to share with others.

I told my therapist, "fuck this job."

The TOD origin story:

After four years of working in oilfield offices in Northern Alberta, I discovered that I did not, in fact, have a tough-guy mentality.

TOD was born in a therapy session in late 2019, after a year of literal life and death. Our family lost two father figures, one of my coworkers died by suicide, and I was about to give birth.

Pregnant. Grieving. Exhausted. I was sitting in yet another therapy session trying to talk myself into going back to a job that glorified substance use and wouldn't let me make a Pride month celebration post.

I had just pulled off a fundraiser in memory of my late coworker. We raised nearly $10K for our local Suicide Prevention Resource Center. 

I had NO plan. I just knew I didn't want to go back after maternity leave. That moment sparked what would become TOD.

I started offering virtual assistant services to therapists. I knew their world. Deeply valued their work as a sibling sexual abuse survivor. I spoke their language. 

Soon after, I noticed holes in my client's content marketing funnels. Two common scenarios emerged: either lots of traffic with no monetization or something to sell but no traffic.

I began supporting clinicians to close these gaps. And people noticed.

Since then, I've helped thousands of helpers, healers, and creatively complex humans take up space online on their own terms. These days, TOD is a creative studio and colourful corner of the internet for modern creators who want their content to feel like home.

We're still rooted in that original mission: care, creativity, connection. Brand therapists, licensed to post and littering your digital presence with digital presents.

Getting Paid to Yap

Help therapist YouTuber Mickey Atkins grow their channel and monetize after being stuck under 100 subscribers for three years.

The Task

The Work

Marketing consulting package: develop a content system, offer accountability, and make recommendations to optimize the content marketing funnel on YouTube.

In just six months, Mickey’s channel hit 10k subscribers and started running on a sustainable content system. A year in, YouTube AdSense fully replaced their private practice income.

Modern Smiles consistently reached new local audiences across multiple platforms.

Support Stephanie in building an online presence that could ease her 1:1 caseload, build community, and set the stage for future digital offerings.

Stephanie grew from 200 to 26K+ followers in under three months, built an engaged audience. Plus welcomed 500 new email subscribers in 24 hours by hosting a collaborative freebie bundle.

Support Summer in growing an online presence that could ease her 1:1 caseload, diversify her income, and build a thriving digital community.

Marketing consulting package: waitlist launch strategy, content development, funnel optimization, and sales support.

Summer grew from 4K to over 90K followers in six months, generated $7K on her first webinar launch, and started building multiple revenue streams. She now has a lighter caseload and a strong online community.

We partnered with 25 local businesses, created a beautiful and consistent stream of campaign content, and added 500+ local email subscribers to Tanya’s list, strengthening community ties and long-term visibility.
